Haryana, India: On January 29th, 2024, the esteemed delegation from the Patanjali Japan Foundation (PJF) embarked on a collaborative visit to Shri Vishwakarma Skill University (SVSU). Led by Sh. Ashutosh Singh, Chief Sewa Officer & Representative Director at Patanjali Japan Foundation; Yumi Ishida, Director and Sales and Marketing Leader; Mr. Yasuhiro Matsou, CEO (Labor and Social Security Attorney), WeNeed Inc. Japan; Mr. Samepal Singh, Founder and Director of One World Alliance; and Ms. Deepika Singh, Founder and Managing Director at eSpot Web Solutions, and Mr. Sanjeev K Ahuja, Editor of Foreign Affairs Asia. The visit was aimed at fostering partnership opportunities and promoting skill development initiatives between PJF and SVSU.
The day commenced with the PJF delegation arriving at the SVSU campus and being warmly welcomed with refreshments. At 11:00 am, introductory discussions were initiated with representatives of SVSU, including Prof. Dr Nirmal Singh, Dean International Collaborations Professor, Skill Prof. (Mechanical Engineering), Dr. RS Rathore, Professor, Academic Dean Professor, Dr. Vaisahali Maheshwari, Deputy Director, Prof. Usha Batra (Chairperson CS &IT), Prof. DK Ganju, Deputy Placement Officer, Dr. Vikas Bhadauria, Dr. Bhavana Rooprai, Dr. Nakul Berwal and Dr. Sohan providing an opportunity for both parties to familiarize themselves with each other's objectives and areas of expertise.
PJF Delegation Received Warm Welcome by Vice - Chancellor of SVSU
The welcome ceremony was graced by the presence of the Mr. Raj Nehru, Vice-Chancellor of SVSU. He extended his greetings to the PJF delegation who were honored by the warm reception, setting a positive tone for the day's engagements.
During the visit, the delegation utilized information shared in newspaper cuttings to gain insights into SVSU's initiatives and achievements. This facilitated a deeper understanding of the university's focus areas and paved the way for constructive discussions on potential collaboration opportunities.
Highlights of Patanjali Japan Foundation’s Agniveer Japan Project
The highlight of the day was a detailed session conducted by Sh. Ashutosh Singh on the Agniveer program, aimed at empowering students with essential skills and knowledge. The interactive session, lasting approximately three hours, provided students with valuable insights into PJF's initiatives and elicited a keen interest in the proposed partnership.
The overarching goal of the Agniveer Japan program is to benefit both Japan and Bharat (India) by facilitating better job opportunities for the next generation and fostering deeper connections between the two nations. Through this initiative, the foundation envisions a future where young talents from Haryana can contribute meaningfully to the workforce in Japan while also enriching their own lives with valuable experiences and opportunities for growth.
Interaction With Representatives from SVSU & Students
Representatives from SVSU actively participated in the session, demonstrating their enthusiasm for collaboration and mutual learning. The engagement between the PJF delegation and SVSU students fostered meaningful dialogue and laid the groundwork for future collaboration endeavors.
Following the session, the delegation and SVSU team convened for a lunch where further discussions on partnership opportunities took place. The exchange of ideas and perspectives over lunch reaffirmed the shared commitment to collaboration and mutual growth.

As the day drew to a close, a significant milestone was achieved with the signing of a Letter of Intent (LOI) between Sh. Ashutosh Singh, Chief Sewa Officer & Representative Director at Patanjali Japan Foundation, Mr. Samepal Singh, Founder& Director, One World Alliance, and Prof. Dr. Jyoti Rana, Registrar of SVSU. The signing ceremony symbolized the first step in forging an active partnership aimed at promoting skill development and fostering innovation.
